What is included in a proofread?

Our proofreading services cover everything necessary to ensure your document is ready to be sent out: spelling, grammar, and any additional touches or rewriting needed.

What types of files can I upload?

Our server currently accepts files in .doc, .docx, .odt, .xls., .ppt, .pdf, .rar, .txt, .wpd, or .zip formats.

How do I get my document translated?

Our translation process is very simple. Follow these steps to begin your translation:

  1. Upload your document, adding any comments or requests you may have.
  2. Submit our free quote request form.
  3. Receive a price estimate.
  4. Receive your completed document.

How is the price of my translation calculated?

Pricing is determined according to three factors:

  • Word count (industry standard practice)
  • Document type
  • Deadline (additional charges may apply for urgent documents)
Proofreading and editing projects are priced based on the same factors, but with average per-word charges significantly lower.

How long will my translation take?

No two translations are alike, and thus, we can give timeframe estimates based only on your specific project. When you submit your document, please indicate your required deadline. LinguistIt is a company which prides itself on its ability to meet almost any deadline, and our guarantee to you is that we do anything within our power to meet yours as well.

What types of payment do you accept?

We currently accept payment via checks, wire transfers, PayPal, and Google Checkout.

Do you provide certified translations?

Yes. We can provide you with certified translations of documents, including diplomas, tax documents, marriage certificates, and more.

Will you send me a VAT invoice?

Yes, we will be happy to send you a VAT invoice if you require one.

Can you guarantee that my information remains confidential?

Yes. We ensure your confidentiality by upholding the highest professional and ethical standards. All of our translators and editors are required personally to sign non-disclosure agreements as a prerequisite to joining our team.
